What It Is: 

EDOBIO Masu Soap, a soap that is carefully crafted by hand and formulated with carefully selected plant-based ingredients, is a gentle cleanser that can be used for the face as well as for the body. This fan favorite “souffle-like” foam provides gently yet effective cleansing. Infused with plant extracts used in traditional Japanese rituals, this alkaline soap helps remove dirt and sebum from the surface of the skin.

Many of EDOBIO’s products contain a proprietary ingredient called BiProGE® Lactic Acid Bacteria, which is derived from lactic acid bacteria and cultured yeast. This active compound helps the skin to retain moisture and improve its elasticity.

BiProGE® Lactic Acid Bacteria is a proprietary ingredient that helps rejuvenate the skin and a naturally derived compound used in many of EDOBIO’s skincare products. As a natural resource, this compound contains microorganisms including minerals.

2 | SOMEI YOSHINO (EXTRACT FROM THE LEAF OF SOMEI YOSHINO)

Somei Yoshino, which is a type of cherry blossom in Japan, plays an integral role in Japanese culture. Many of EDOBIO’s products use extracts from Somei Yoshino, which is known for its beautiful aroma and its moisturizing properties.

3 | GREEN TEA SEED (GREEN TEA SEED EXTRACT)

Green Tea seed from the Camellia Oleifera plant, is pressed to produce extract oil. High concentration of Vitamin E and amino acid. Benefits of green tea seed extract include conditioning and toning of the skin.

4 | GREEN TEA LEAF (GREEN TEA LEAF EXTRACT)

Japanese green tea leaf extract contains catechins, which have conditioning and toning properties.
